Position:

The Developer Relations and Community Advocate at Permanent Data Solutions works to build and strengthen the AR.IO Network's presence in the Web3 ecosystem. This position is focused on cultivating relationships with external communities, developers, and industry stakeholders through active participation in events, both virtual and in-person. The role involves representing the AR.IO Network, enhancing the developer experience by creating impactful tools and content, and directly engaging with developers to gather feedback and drive improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Travel regularly to Web3 and blockchain events, conferences, and meetups to promote the AR.IO Network and engage directly with the developer community.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, businesses, and influencers within the blockchain and Web3 ecosystems to foster collaboration and partnerships.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with educational institutions, tech hubs, and other community organizations to promote AR.IO Network’s adoption and education.
• Create and share informative content for external developers, including tutorials, blog posts, and best practice guides.
• Act as a liaison between the developer community and internal teams, collecting and conveying feedback to inform product development and community initiatives.
• Organize and host webinars, AMAs, workshops, and training sessions to showcase the AR.IO Network’s capabilities and enhance practical skills.
• Design and refine onboarding processes for new developers, including comprehensive guides, resources, and community support.
• Provide first-line support to developers, assist with integration, troubleshoot issues, and improve documentation based on user feedback.
• Advocate for the AR.IO Network’s technology and benefits on social media, developer forums, and other relevant platforms.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to inform strategic community engagement and growth efforts

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated professional committed to advancing blockchain technology through dynamic community engagement and advocacy.

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, particularly within the Web3 framework. Familiarity with the Arweave network and decentralized storage solutions is a plus.
• Practical coding experience, preferably in JavaScript/TypeScript, commonly used in AR.IO development.
• Proficiency in creating high-quality technical content, including documentation, user guides, and multimedia formats.
• Strong willingness and ability to travel, as this role involves attending events and meetings across various geographies.
• Experience in organizing and managing both physical and virtual events, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Ability to analyze community feedback and usage data to drive product and community improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical details in a clear and engaging manner.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships, with a natural talent for networking and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. An established and organic social network is highly desirable.
• Adaptable and proactive in initiating projects that enhance community engagement and developer satisfaction.
• Genuine enthusiasm for engaging with and growing developer communities, with a deep understanding of the Web3 space.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably in the tech or blockchain industry
