Position Overview
We are looking for a smart, ambitious individual who wants to help grow our presence in the market. In this role, you will focus on growing our user base with the ultimate goal of increasing TVL. You will be at the forefront of the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency ecosystem and take calculated risks, to produce TVL growth.
This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will be in the office for 4 days per week (at one of our locations in the Denver, Cayman Islands, Toronto, or Dubai) Our team works Monday to Friday, but considering we have users across the globe, you must be flexible and occasionally be ready to work off hours. This role will report to the Chief Growth Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and grow our TVL using data gained through marketing campaigns and experimentation to reach these goals
- Establish and manage our public-facing social channels (e.g. Twitter, Reddit, Medium, etc)
- Set and implement social media and community campaigns for ether.fi products
- Constantly work on new channels, creatives, and other ideas for experimentation, optimization, and acquisition growth
- Spearhead initiatives to attract new members to our community, including AMAs, social campaigns, virtual events, and more
- Develop an analytical framework to measure and report on the performance of marketing initiatives
- Gain insights into our capital using on chain data
- Proactively survey and speak with community members; generate marketable insights from the voice of the communities
- Build positive relationships with individuals in related web3 communities
- Continuously provide the team with input about what's working (or not)
- Plan, develop and deliver high-quality, engaging, original content on social media and in the community to amplify ether.fi’s brand
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years work experience in a communications role
- Experience working at a crypto startup
- Inspired by the possibilities of DeFi and excited to work in the crypto space
- Intrinsic desire to build, learn and experiment
- Experience cultivating, managing, and/or growing thriving communities
- Highly social; you love working with people
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Highly autonomous; you thrive on fast-paced and iterative learning-by-doing
- The ability to think creatively, strategically, and innovatively
- Design capabilities, analytics, and ability to build models would be nice to have
