About Rarible
Rarible builds at the intersection of digital ownership, marketplaces, collectibles, and Web3.
We have spent years on products and infrastructure for NFT and digital collectible ecosystems. We want a product manager who is excited about where AI, marketplaces, communities, and collectibles go next.
You will work with product, design, engineering, and business on the next generation of Rarible products.
The Role
We want a product manager who genuinely likes AI, marketplaces, and collectibles.
Someone who tries new consumer products, plays with new AI tools, understands why people collect things, and has instincts around marketplaces, liquidity, discovery, identity, and community.
You do not need a whole career in crypto. You should care about how AI is changing both how we build and what people want, and you should want to build for collectors, creators, communities, and marketplaces.
The loop we care about is idea, user problem, spec, prototype, build, launch, learn. Then do it again, quickly.
What you'll do
- Own products and features from the first sketch through launch and the work after.
- Spot new opportunities in AI, marketplaces, and digital collectibles.
- Work closely with design and engineering and actually ship.
- Talk to users, collectors, creators, partners, and communities about what they need.
- Turn a fuzzy idea into a clear product decision.
- Set priorities, roadmaps, success metrics, and experiments.
- Look at marketplace behavior, funnels, liquidity, engagement, and retention.
- Make discovery, buying, selling, collecting, and portfolios better.
- Ask how AI can help search, discovery, personalization, curation, creation, and ops.
- Prototype with AI tools before you spend a lot of engineering time.
- Keep up with AI, crypto, consumer apps, gaming, collectibles, and marketplaces.
- Work across teams until the insight is a shipped product.
What we're looking for
A perfect resume matters less than taste, curiosity, ownership, and proof you can build things people want. You will probably fit if:
- You are always trying new AI tools and products.
- You have opinions about what makes a consumer product great.
- You understand marketplaces, or you are fascinated by them.
- You like collectibles, digital or physical, and can explain why people collect.
- You are interested in NFTs, digital ownership, crypto, gaming, or creator economies.
- You can take a messy problem and turn it into a direction the team can build.
- You are comfortable sitting with engineers and designers.
- You can tell a cool demo from something people will actually use.
- You use data, and you still make a call when the data is incomplete.
- You move quickly and you are fine testing an idea before it is polished.
- You can say no.
- You are fine in a fast, remote team.
How you use AI
AI should not just be a line on the roadmap. We want someone who thinks about how it changes the way products get built, and what those products can become.
You do not need to be an engineer. You should be curious about how the tech works and comfortable with technical people.
- Research and looking at competitors
- Writing specs
- Quick prototypes
- Making sense of user feedback
- Exploring data
- Trying UX and copy
- Brainstorming and poking holes in ideas
- Testing a concept before you ask engineering to build it
- Working more tightly with engineering and design
Nice to have
- You have worked on a marketplace.
- You have launched a consumer product.
- You have worked in crypto, NFTs, gaming, fintech, or creator platforms.
- You have built something with AI yourself.
- You collect something and can explain why.
- You understand marketplace liquidity and network effects.
- You have a good eye for product design.
- You have side projects or experiments you can show.
- You can point to something you shipped and say what you got right and what you got wrong.
Proof of work, not just a resume
When you apply, send something that shows how you think as a product person. Answer these three questions in the form.
- 1.Which marketplace or collectible product do you think is unusually well designed, and why? What do they understand about their users that other people miss?
- 2.How do you think AI will change marketplaces and collectibles over the next 2-3 years? We care more about how you think than about a perfect prediction.
- 3.Tell us about a product or feature you took from idea to launch. What did you own? What did you decide? What did you learn once real users touched it?
