Business Development Manager (Europe & Asia)

As a key member of rhino’s Business Development team, you will drive growth and foster valuable partnerships across crypto, DeFi and fintech ecosystems. You’ll identify new opportunities, develop and execute strategies to meet company objectives. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, you will help turn business development opportunities into reality, ensuring alignment with our overarching goals.
Core Responsibilities:

Identify Opportunities: Proactively seek and evaluate new business opportunities within the DeFi space, aligning them with rhino’s goals.

Build and Manage Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders.

Strategic Execution: Partner with internal teams to develop and execute business strategies that drive company growth.

Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with technical and non-technical teams to overcome challenges, prioritize opportunities, and ensure alignment.

Represent rhino: Act as an ambassador for rhino at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Market Insights: Stay informed on market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscape changes to help shape product and business strategies.

Partnership Development and Negotiation: Actively negotiate terms and agreements with potential partners, and develop partnership frameworks.

Business Opportunity Forecasting and Reporting: Track and report on business development initiatives, pipeline status, and revenue projections.

Product/Market Fit Advocacy: Provide feedback to product teams to help align business development efforts with product/market fit.

Scaling Partnerships and Expanding Business Verticals: Scale partnerships by identifying new use cases and verticals for the rhino bridge.

Risk Management and Compliance: Help assess and manage risk in business relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Advocate for rhino’s Values: Embody rhinos’s core values of ‘always hustling for our users’ and ‘integrity,’ championing these principles in every interaction.
Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Business Development or Sales role, with at least 2 years in a crypto or DeFi project.

Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of the crypto and DeFi markets, with an established network in the industry.

Track Record of Success: Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and others.

Strategic Thinker: Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to prioritisation and decision-making.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and engage proactively with business partners.
