You’ll be joining a growing team that currently includes 70+ people overall. This role is based in Berlin (🇩🇪). Most of our team is based in Berlin, Germany, but we also have awesome teammates in Switzerland 🇨🇭, Spain 🇪🇸, Portugal 🇵🇹 and other countries.

💻 About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer Mobile, you will be responsible for development of a mobile app from concept to launch, focusing on building high-quality, efficient, and responsive code.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement features, optimizing app performance, and continuously integrating new technologies. Additionally, the role emphasizes mentoring peers and fostering a culture of code quality and continuous improvement through code reviews and best practices.

🗃️ What you will be doing:

• Responsibility to develop a new mobile app from scratch.

• Architect, develop and execute on our product vision.

• Build performant and high fidelity code.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application.

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand and refine product requirements.

• Provide mentorship to your peers in the broader engineering team through code reviews and education on best practices.

• Ensure proper documentation (Pragmatic: As much as necessary, as little as possible).

🎒 What you will bring:

• Strong React Native proficiency: 4+ years with deep understanding of core libraries, component lifecycle and performance optimization.

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle (incl. CI/CD, Mobile Testing, App Review).

• TypeScript - professionally used for 4-5 years.

• Professional experience in Web3 (2+ years).

• Great with unit and functional testing and debugging.

• Understand the differences between iOS and Android platforms in the way they work, their capabilities, common pitfalls and limitations.

• Confident git user.

➕ Nice to have:

• Knowledge of security best practices in web3 and mobile development, including encryption and secure key management.

• Active on GitHub, Open Source contributions.

• Familiarity with crypto wallets.

• Experience working with Figma, Google Analytics, Firebase.
