About the Role
ZetaChain is looking for a DeFi Product Lead to manage and lead various decentralized finance (DeFi) product initiatives. This role involves advising our app ecosystem on DeFi products, managing internal DeFi products, designing mechanisms, analyzing ecosystem health and economics, and creating incentive designs to drive growth and sustainability. Things you may work on include:
Advising partner builders, studios, and companies on developing DeFi products on top of ZetaChain.
Managing and enhancing ZetaChain’s core DeFi product ecosystem to ensure optimal performance, growth, and user experience.
Designing innovative mechanisms that leverage and amplify ZetaChain’s unique interoperability architecture.
Analyzing ecosystem health and economics to ensure sustainable growth, robustness, and risk.
Creating and implementing incentive designs that drive user engagement, DeFi growth, and retention in specific areas or across the app ecosystem.
What Excites You? (aka Role Responsibilities)
Advising and collaborating with external partners on DeFi product development.
Managing internal DeFi products, ensuring they meet user needs and industry standards.
Designing and implementing innovative mechanisms and protocols for DeFi products.
Analyzing ecosystem health, user behavior, and economic data to inform product decisions.
Creating and optimizing incentive structures to drive user engagement and ecosystem growth.
Setting ambitious KPIs, OKRs, goals, roadmaps, and working with your team to deliver on them.
Collaborating with marketing, BD, and community teams to complement growth and expansion needs with product and design.
What We’re Looking For: (aka Qualifications)
2-4+ years in DeFi, crypto, or fintech product leadership/product management experience.
Deep understanding of DeFi products, protocols, and ecosystems.
Exceptional leadership, management, and process skills.
Ability to break down complex technical requirements, concepts, and constraints with a strong intuition for user behavior and needs.
Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions using first principles and design thinking.
Proven track record of leading projects end-to-end and navigating teams through ambiguity.
Strong opinions on the state of DeFi product and onboarding, with ideas for improvement.
Commitment to user safety and consideration of the implications of technology.

Entrepreneurial experience
Ecosystem/portfolio management experience
Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Notion, Github, Figma
