About the Role
ZetaChain is looking for a technical crypto research analyst to support ZetaChain’s awareness and narrative positioning in the blockchain and “chain abstraction” space. Key responsibilities include:
Conduct deep research and analysis across the crypto landscape, with a strong emphasis on blockchain interoperability, ZetaChain’s Universal EVM Stack, and app ecosystem developments.
Work closely with tech and business leaders to capture the latest products and services, effectively communicating ZetaChain’s positioning and ethos.
Develop and manage engaging content designed for both technical and retail audiences, including multi-form (technical blogs, app demo videos, tweet style, user-friendly guides).
Perform on-chain analysis to extract insights on blockchain activity, token flows, and user behavior to support product development and marketing strategies such as reward system incentives.
Dynamically react to new market developments and trends in order to generate relevant, compelling stories that align with ZetaChain’s goals and Identify market opportunities and risks.
Engage in online and industry events to represent ZetaChain technology, share insights about the space, and build a personal brand.
About you
You have a formal research background, but are also crypto-native and understand web3 tech. You’re excited to have space to nerd out on academic whitepapers and new technical docs while also staying up to speed on analyzing and testing the newest solutions in crypto. You’re scrappy and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment while remaining intellectually honest and not compromising the quality of your research and analysis. You're intellectually fascinated by the web3 stack, specifically blockchains and the space of cross-chain interoperability.
Ideal experience and skills:
1-2 years of experience working in the crypto industry or 3+ years as a research analyst — ex- Delphi Digital, Messari, Nansen, Dune Analytics, or other reputable crypto analyst firms is good.
Sophisticated DeFi expertise and technical understanding of various aspects of blockchain protocols and networks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate analysis and insights concisely.
Ability to synthesize a wide range of data into coherent frameworks for understanding new sectors or trends.
Strong data skills and familiarity with crypto metrics and data sources.
Resourceful, curious, and able to dynamically react to the market.
Knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools is a plus.
Experience with smart contract platforms and decentralized applications (dApps).
